Hi Andrew,

Great question. 2^3 x 2^2 would be something like a single bunny-o-tron with 2 different orders, where we keep the results in the machine. First, someone starts with 1 bunny, orders 3 seconds of growth. They keep the result in the machine then have 2 more seconds of growth. This could be summarized as a single order of 5 seconds (2^3 x 2^2 = 2^5).

When we have 2^3 + 2^2, it’s like two separate bunny-o-trons so to speak. We have one going for 3 seconds, another for 2 seconds, but we aren’t taking the result of one and feeding it to another.

Figuring out when we can combine results (or not) is important, I’d like to do a follow-up on this too. Thanks!
