The problem I have with this theory is that the eyeballs of the cat are a passive sensor. It puts out no active energy, only absorbs it. How can it collapse a wave function if it isn’t putting any energy into the system to measure it?

That was a great explanation. But at the end, wouldn’t you rather say:

If you apply this idea to Schroedinger’s cat, you can say that the cat is made up of many non-point particles, all of which add up into a non-point cat.

The problem of “did the radioactive particle decay or not” still remains, though.
